A small ship with great significance
For a few days now, a small but very significant ship has been adorning the entrance area of Weatherdock: the donation collection ship of the German Sea Rescue Association (DGzRS). With this initiative, we would like to support the valuable and tireless work of the sea rescuers who ensure safety at sea every day.

The mission of the DGzRS – rescue in any weather
The DGzRS is responsible for the maritime search and rescue service on the North Sea and Baltic Sea – autonomously and independently. With their state-of-the-art rescue cruisers and boats, the sea rescuers are ready to help people in distress at sea around the clock – and this is financed exclusively by donations. Without volunteers, their life-saving work would not be possible.
Why a collection ship at Weatherdock?
As a company dedicated to maritime safety, the topic of sea rescue is particularly important to us. Our AIS rescue transmitters and navigation solutions help to locate people in distress more quickly and make rescue operations more efficient. With the donation collection ship, we not only want to provide financial support, but also draw attention to the importance of this important work.
Every contribution counts!
Every euro helps to support the work of the sea rescuers and save lives!
We are proud to be able to contribute a small part to the great mission of the DGzRS and hope that many more will follow this example.
