The easyPOSALERT is a portable position transmitter which uses VHF technology.
The device enables the persistent locating and monitoring of moving objects within range.


The easyPOSALERT has a built-in GPS receiver. After manual activation the device transmits the current GPS position by means of VHF signals in a preset time interval. This position report is sent on customized VHF frequencies, so a “closed user group” may be arranged. Each unit of the easyPOS-ALERT can be personalized individually. In case of an emergency there is an alert function which transmits on regular frequencies receivable by everyone within range.

The easyPOSALERT is floatable and waterproof to a depth of 10m. The rechargeable batteries have a lifespan of 5 days, depending on the pre-set transmission interval. The transmission range of the easyPOSALERT is from about 10nm (10m height of receiving antenna) up to 40nm (air craft at 1000 ft).

The easyPOSALERT is especially suitable for race boats, ferry boats, pilot vessels, jet-skis, smaller fishing boats and charter boats. Fact is: the easyPOSALERT is needed where persistent locating and monitoring of moving objects becomes necessary.

What is necessary to run the easyPOSALERT?

Each object going to be monitored and located needs an easyPOSALERT. The charging station provides intelligent and ideal charging, which ensures the long lifespan of the batteries. The object-related data is programmed into the device by the customers administrator or by the manufacturer. Only a VHF receiver, the easyAIS, is needed to receive the customized signals of the easyPSOALERT. It is factory pre-set to the custom frequencies. Normally the “closed user group” as well as all other objects are displayed on the chart plotter or PC screen.

The usage of an easyTRX2S-IS allows the management of different “closed user groups” on the same customized frequency

A122 Tamperproof & Powersocket



The A122 Tamperproof & Powersocket is a tamper-proof charging station for the vmsTRACK-PRO. The charging station can be easily connected to the electrical system or another external power source. The cable ends only need to be connected accordingly. Mains voltages of 9 to 32 volts are possible.

A121 Power Supply Socket



The A121 Power Supply Socket can be easily connected to the electrical system or another external power source. The cable ends only need to be connected accordingly. Mains voltages of 9 to 24 volts are possible. If you want to work with the national power grid, we recommend the A180. Here is a Euro plug for the 230 volt application already preassembled. All you need is an adapter plug for your country or socket type.

WinGPS is a navigation software for sport boats that can run on standard Windows PCs and notebooks.

The software is available in three different versions: Navigator, Pro and Voyager.

From the „Pro„ version on, it is possible to display an AIS-object, among others, in a sea map with diverse information. Furthermore, it is possible to display traveled routes on a sea map on the basis of their  GPS Positions and play them back on a screen.
It is also possible to display more than one route at the same time and compare them with each other.

Displaying the routes is also possible with the free version WinGPS 5 Lite.

For the tracking of boats for observation purposes, or to present on screen regatta competitions, the software can be supplemented by a “race track” module.
The race-track module receives the AIS signals from boats, modifies and forwards them to the WinGPS software. This is an advanced feature, in addition to the “normal” AIS functions possible such as: representation of boat symbols in different colors, the course marker for the regatta represented  with special symbols,  displaying or concealing information about the boat depending on the object type. Furthermore, an additional module enables the constant logging and storing of the AIS positions of all objects.

This can later be displayed as lines in WinGPS, which can be evaluated and also exported.

Due to the possibility of using standard nautical charts in different formats for the sporting boat area in this software, it is possible to provide a realistic and clear ly  background image of the boat positions and routes almost worldwide. In addition to this, it is also possible to create one’s own special maps, which are based on Google-Maps or similar programs, for example.

The potential emergency messages from AIS transmitters are clearly highlighted with special  icons in the map.

  • Indicator of the speed at a given position in the subsequent playback of routes.
