Expeditions to Remote Seas<\/h3>\n

Extreme conditions demand uncompromising reliability.<\/span><\/span> Icy cold, severe storms, remote seas, and expeditions lasting months far from any infrastructure place the highest demands on both people and technology.<\/span><\/span> For many years, we have had the privilege of accompanying the most renowned German polar explorer and adventurer of our time on his voyages aboard his sailing vessel, the Dagmar Aaen<\/strong>: <\/span><\/span><\/span> Arved Fuchs<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Over the course of his career, he has reached both the North and South Poles on foot and is considered an expert in extreme expeditions.<\/span><\/span> Since the 1990s, he has increasingly focused on sea voyages.<\/span><\/span> His vessel is a traditionally built fishing cutter.<\/span><\/span> On these journeys, he traverses historic sea routes such as the Northeast and Northwest Passages and simultaneously documents ocean changes through projects like “Ocean Change.”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Arved Fuchs (born April 26, 1953, in Bad Bramstedt) is a German polar explorer, sailor, and author, known for his numerous documentaries, books, and expeditions.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
