The first and most important milestone has been reached! Team Malizia planted the first 1 million mangroves with the help of the Mama Earth Foundation and numerous donors.
1,000,000 mangroves planted in Malizia Mangrove Park
When founding the Malizia Mangrove Park, Boris Herrmann and his team had a big goal: 1 million mangroves for the Malizia Mangrove Park. This milestone has now been reached. But the project doesn’t end there. Now we have to reach the next milestone of 2 million.
Why mangroves? Because mangrove trees are basically an all-rounder. They protect the coasts, provide habitat for endangered species, create jobs and also absorb an extremely high proportion of CO2.
Weatherdock AG supports Team Malizia’s climate project
We are proud that we were able to contribute to this. In 2023, for every easy2-MOB rescue transmitter sold, we donated 10 mangroves to the Malizia Mangrove Park. We would therefore also like to thank our customers enormously.
