Compared to other industrialized nations, relatively few students receive scholarships in Germany. To change that, the Technical University of Nuremberg Georg Simon Ohm has been awarding “Deutschlandstipendium” scholarships to its own students since 2011. The Deutschlandstipendium scholarships are financed by companies, institutions and individuals, as well as with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
