What does the easySPLIT do when the power supply to the easySPLIT is disconnected? Can I still transmit with my Radio? Does the AIS reception work as well?

For the case of a disconnected power supply, the VHF antenna is always connected to the radio over the easySPLIT.That means you can still use your VHF radio. However, if the easySPLIT is switched off, there is no AIS reception, because the antenna always stays connected with the radio. This is for security.
