Our Spanish distribution partner, BalsaMar, presented the new AIS MOB easy2-MOB from Weatherdock at Navalia 2026. The international trade fair in Vigo was once again one of the most important gatherings for the maritime industry in Southern Europe, bringing together shipyards, equipment suppliers, security companies, and trade visitors from the international shipping sector.
From May 19 to 21, 2026, the BalsaMar team showcased the AIS + DSC MOB distress beacon at booth 1A22. The easy2-MOB was specifically designed to provide crews with fast and reliable support in man-overboard situations. The combination of AIS and DSC technology allows the position of a person overboard to be transmitted immediately to surrounding vessels and compatible navigation systems – a crucial advantage in critical situations at sea.
Navalia thus provided an important platform to present innovative solutions for maritime safety, navigation, and communication to an international audience of experts and to strengthen the exchange of knowledge within the industry.
